Dear Dr. Jaeger,
I want to express my sincere gratitude because it was only through your treatment that I regained a significant amount of quality of life. After the second COVID vaccine and the related consequences, I was unable to work for 2.5 years and went through a long ordeal of doctor visits, therapies, and medications. Unfortunately, my journey was only moderately successful, but as a sufferer, one clings to any straw that promises improvement. Driven by the hope of improvement, I came to you in January 2024. Your good reputation in treating PostVac and Long-Covid is already well-known among those affected, and rightly so! After my first appointment with you, I did not know if you could help me, but I was immediately sure that I was facing a doctor who understood the scope and connections of the disease better than all the doctors I had consulted before. With each further visit, my first impression was only further confirmed. It is not only your therapy but especially your empathetic and warm manner that sets you apart from your colleagues. With you, one feels taken seriously and well cared for. Most importantly, you take the time and also consider the complete medical history of the patient. I was very fortunate, because thanks to your diagnostic intuition, you also noticed other infectious diseases that my immune system was struggling with. The therapy initiated thereafter, in combination with the H.E.L.P. apheresis and the prescribed medications, led to a significant and sustainable improvement in my health.
Thank you for your commitment and support on all levels – you are simply the best!
Your grateful patient,Markus
Hello Dr. Jaeger,
The HELP Apheresis has been the most helpful in my battle with Long Covid out of everything I’ve tried. In October, I was in a wheelchair and could barely walk 5 steps, but about 2.5 months later, after 7 apheresis sessions, I was able to walk normally again. It was truly incredible, but after each apheresis session, I could feel my energy returning! Each week, I could do more – climb more stairs, do more around the house, and walk more. There were significant improvements week by week, including neurological improvements.
I would recommend apheresis to anyone. Nothing has helped me more, and I’ve tried a lot. Blood thinners were the second most helpful, and Ivermectin also made a difference.
Best regards and many thanks,NatalieMy daughter Anna was vaccinated for the second time with the Biontech/Pfizer vaccine against Covid-19 at the end of August 2021. In October 2021, she began experiencing the first symptoms of illness. She developed a constant headache (not a minute of the day pain-free), starting at 8 (on a scale of 1-10) in the morning. Throughout the day, the pain increased to 10. When it became unbearable, Anna would faint. This happened up to 10 times daily. She was also extremely exhausted, sleeping up to 18 hours a day. She had developed the so-called “brain fog”, meaning she always felt a fog in her head. She could no longer concentrate, had memory gaps, and would repeat herself multiple times in a conversation.
A marathon of doctor visits began before we found help. All the tests ordered by the doctors were unremarkable, all blood values were normal. Due to the unremarkable test results, psychosomatic treatment was recommended, which I refused for my child.
Through Eckart von Hirschhausen’s documentary “Long Covid – The Pandemic of the Untreated”, I became aware of Dr. Beate Jaeger. I contacted her and made an appointment. The examination of Anna’s blood revealed a very high concentration of micro blood clots and a very pronounced inflammation of the endothelium. Blood draws have been rarely possible since the illness began.
Initially, a blood-thinning therapy was started. This made the headaches and fainting spells disappear. The exhaustion and concentration difficulties remained. Since a high number of blood clots were still detectable after a year despite the blood thinning, HELP apheresis was performed on her. This brought about the big change. My daughter’s physical condition improved week by week. The exhaustion became significantly better. Today, her physical resilience is almost back to normal. She can attend school regularly again and has been able to resume her social contacts almost normally. Her ability to concentrate has improved. In the last blood test, no more clots could be detected.
Dr. Jaeger was our savior in great distress. The treatment, especially the apheresis, saved my daughter.AnnaMy husband and I contracted Covid in August 2021. We were against vaccination from the start. While I had a mild case, my husband fought for his life for a week in the intensive care unit. Since we didn’t want to experience this again, and because in Belgium information circulated that only vaccinated people would be treated (a kind of racial segregation), we decided to get vaccinated after all. On October 1, 2021, I received my 2nd Pfizer vaccination.
I’ve been a musician with heart and soul for 30 years, playing oboe and flute (wind instruments) among others, and I’m a member of 3 music associations. In December 2021, we had the 3rd cultural lockdown, meaning music association rehearsals were prohibited. The lockdown lasted only 3 weeks and we were allowed to make music together again. At the first rehearsal, I noticed something was wrong with my lungs. After 5 minutes, I felt as if I had run a marathon without training. The subsequent blood test showed that I had many antibodies against Covid. Scans of my lungs and several visits to the pulmonologist followed. But my lungs became weaker and weaker…
Other symptoms were added, such as loss of appetite (I lost 35 kg within 1 year), getting exhausted very quickly, major concentration problems (only able to drive 3-4 km but without radio), disoriented, confused, sleepless nights…
In March 2022, I watched a program on Spiegel-TV that reported on 3 Long Covid patients. I felt 80% addressed and decided to contact them. So in late November 2022, I came into contact with Dr. Jäger, who then informed me that all the symptoms in the new blood test matched and that I was suffering from Long Covid. For me, this was finally a relief that the symptoms were actually present and I wasn’t faking it. Since November 2022, I’ve been taking blood thinners. A few weeks later, I felt a significant improvement. But then came my low point at a rehearsal in March 2023. I started shaking, tears were running down my face (for no reason). I felt that something was going to happen (comparable to a stomach and intestinal flu, like “now it has to come out”). I left the rehearsal room and collapsed in the hallway, coming to my senses 10 minutes later. It became clear to me that I couldn’t stay like this, and I contacted the St. Georg Clinic in Bad Aibling, as Dr. Jäger had moved from Mülheim an der Ruhr to Bad Aibling. I had meanwhile reached the point of “either it works and I go home on two feet or it doesn’t work and I’m in the box”. I couldn’t and didn’t want to go on anymore…
On April 11, 2023, I received my first HELP apheresis. A few hours after the first apheresis, I felt a tingling in my stomach, the energy slowly came back. Three more HELP aphereses followed. Gradually, my energy, strength, and zest for life returned. I could climb stairs again, and talk while doing so, hike, the strength in my lungs came back. I felt like a toddler starting to crawl, walk, talk. In short, I started to LIVE again.
I was aware from the beginning that no insurance would cover the costs. I spent hours talking to the health insurance, which advised me to take the step on my own. From January 2022 until now, I have spent over 21,000 € on my Long Covid illness. A definitive end to the illness is not yet in sight.
I am very, very grateful to Dr. Jäger and her entire team for this new life.
That was my story,…
I tried to keep it short, but…CélineThanks to the HELP Aphereses, I no longer have headaches; before, I suffered from severe headaches every day. My brain fog is gone. It was almost unbelievable to see clearly again. I can concentrate and participate in conversations again. Previously, I had forgotten the question before the answer came to mind. I can do much more now, stand for longer periods, and walk longer distances.
I thank Dr. Jaeger for giving me back so much quality of life. No one else has helped me as much.
Greetings from Swabia, Tanja, and many thanks!!!!!!TanjaSome thoughts on my “life-saving” treatment by Dr. Jäger.
Since mid-June 2021, I have been suffering from what is now fairly certain to be Post Vac (due to vaccination with Biontech and previously with AstraZeneca).
Until my first appointment with Dr. Jäger in June 2023, I had been through a devastating odyssey of doctors. Only my pain therapist took my complaints seriously. When I first sat across from Dr. Jäger and heard that I was being taken seriously, that my complaints weren’t being classified as psychosomatic, and that I really was as sick as I felt, a huge burden fell from my shoulders.
After undergoing the blood test she recommended, which revealed, among other things, thrombosis in my blood and inflammation of my blood vessels, I immediately began the therapy she recommended. In the first 10 weeks, I injected myself with heparin three times daily and took clopidogrel and ASS (which I can’t tolerate due to my “escalated” histamine intolerance). Even with the heparin, the brain fog became significantly less, I could think a bit more clearly again, and I observed that I had been seeing my surroundings through a gray veil for the past two years.
Subsequently, I began taking the following medications: Clopidogrel, Pradaxa (against microclots), Ivabradine (because I was struggling with severe heart rhythm disturbances), Famotidine, Rupatadine (against intolerances and for stomach protection), LDN for sleeping and against nerve inflammation, as well as melatonin spray, also to counteract nerve inflammation. To keep the pain symptoms under control, I take cannabis drops three times a day.
I also began with the first of a total of six apheresis treatments. The medication improved my breathing, the constant allergic reactions calmed down, and overall the nerve pain became much better. After the first apheresis, on the way home, I had the feeling for the first time in a long time of not being quite so weak and “sticky” (this “stickiness” sounds strange, but it’s exactly the description of how my body feels on some days even today). During the apheresis, it became clear how thickened my blood was even with the blood-thinning medications. The apheresis treatments were very strenuous for me, partly due to my previous tumor condition, but I felt an improvement from time to time, until I had contact with the coronavirus again. At this point, it became clear that each reinfection would trigger a new flare-up in me. During the sixth apheresis, it became clear what this virus triggers in me. As my vessels were very exhausted and much more inflamed again, I paused after the sixth apheresis, although I had previously felt an improvement after each apheresis. Unfortunately, I am also limited in terms of financial resources.
I continue the medication treatment recommended by Dr. Jäger, at my own expense, although in the meantime at least the blood-thinning medications can be prescribed off-label. But I have to pay for the rest myself, which only works through the help of friends and acquaintances.
I have experienced people in the clinic who have experienced a significant improvement in their condition through the apheresis treatments, and I also had the feeling of significant relief.
Despite my illness, I tried to continue working as a school and individual companion (focusing on autism) until October ’23, because I kept hoping to recover. But since every exertion leads to a breakdown, weakening me anew and more sustainably each time, I have “thrown in the towel” and since then have focused exclusively on trying everything possible to get healthy.HanniDear Dr. Jaeger,
From March 27 to June 20, I underwent 5 apheresis treatments under your care. After the third session, I noticed slight improvements in my symptoms (pain became more bearable). With the use of three different blood thinners and LDN, I observed further small progress, such as being able to walk lightly for 23 minutes instead of just 10, experiencing better sleep, less nerve and muscle pain, improved concentration, and feeling overall “healthier and stronger”. My blood work has also improved. The further development after the 5th apheresis on June 20 remains to be seen.
My current health condition would not have been possible without these apheresis treatments, and I am finally enjoying a bit more quality of life after 4 months of complete bed rest from a total of 8 months of illness.
Like many other patients, I hope that health insurance companies will soon support us and enable better therapies for everyone.
Thank you for your tireless dedication!LisaDear Dr. Jaeger,

Tinnitus very rareBy doing the HELP-Apheresis in Clinicum St. Georg under the care of Dr. Jäger I was able to get back to living my life.
October 2023 I got post-covid and over the course of the next 2½ years my symptoms increased and got more limiting. I had severe fatigue, disordered sleeping, severe brain fog, POTS, dysautonomia, mastcell activation, joint and muscle pains, light and sound sensitivity. Any stress or exertion lead to a permanent decline and none of the therapies I tried brought a (permanent) improvement.
When I first came to Dr. Jäger in january 2026, I was housebound, in a wheelchair and could barely leave my bed. My Bell’s Functionality Score was at 20 points.
After the 3rd treatment I was able to go for walks, felt like I had energy, slept better, had less pains and tolerated light and sounds better. After the 7th treatment I am back to everyday life, being able to do sports, study and do everyday tasks – without any setbacks.
Thank you for all your engagement and efforts, it means everything to me!
